The Shepherd’s Pantry is pleased to announce that it is the recipient of a $10,000 from Shaws as part of it’s Nourishing Neighbors program.
Thanks so much to Shaw’s and it’s customers who donated to the program. You are really making a difference.
A special thank you to the Windham Presbyterian Church family for your generous donation! We greatly appreciate you answering the call for our need of canned meals and baked beans!
Two Windham brothers, Christopher and Jonathan have chosen to donate their Christmas gifts from their Grandmother Frances to “help with the wonderful work done by Shepherd’s Pantry.” So rather than receive gifts from her this Christmas they are each giving their $250.00 to help feed families in need. Christopher and Jonathan, Thank you for your kindness!
Pantry volunteers prepare Thanksgiving bags for distribution.
The Shaw’s Turkey Bucks program starts October 16. Please consider purchasing a $1, $5, or $10 gift in Turkey Bucks to help provide a holiday dinner to a local family in need. Shaw’s will use the money collected from Turkey Bucks coupon purchases at the Shaw’s on Indian Rock Rd to donate complete turkey dinners to the Shepherd’s Pantry.
Thank you for your continued support and generosity!
A big thank you to Sophie (and her mom, Karen Bettencourt) for their generous donation of $210 to the Shepherd’s Pantry! On Christmas Eve last year, Sophie baked cookies and delivered batches to several families in town in return for a donation to the pantry. Sophie is 6 years old and wanted to help other kids in her community. Sophie delivered 8 batches of cookies to friends and neighbors. Thank you, Sophie, for your incredibly thoughtful, kind, and generous donation! We at Shepherd’s Pantry truly appreciate it!
